House of Cards Release

On October 24th, Karima Santi will release House of Cards, the first single from her upcoming EP titled Royale.

Santi’s new music masterfully intertwines dream pop, quiet storm r&b, and triphop soundscapes; blending modern influences from Clairo to Solange; and vintage influences ranging from Dido to Sade.

House of Cards pulls listeners into a romantic world of intrigue, ethereal soundscapes, and cinematic imagery.

Artist Bio

Austin, TX-based singer-songwriter Karima Santi first captured attention with her debut EP Queen of Regret in 2024. The EP’s singles “Space” and “Arizona” have racked up thousands of streams and garnered local radio play on KUTX and KROX, showcasing her unique blend of dream pop and indie rock which fans and critics compare to Imogen Heap, Men I Trust, and Billie Eilish.

Following the EP’s success, Santi was awarded a grant from the Austin Live Music Fund and has since headlined at esteemed local venues including the Cactus Café and Guero’s Oak Garden. She also featured in The Far Out Lounge’s Black Artist’s Rock showcase.

In 2025, Santi showcased her growing confidence as a self-producing artist with her latest single ‘Eternal Wine’; and an indie rock cover of Beyoncé’s ‘Break My Soul’.

This fall she is slated to release ‘House of Cards’, the first single from her upcoming EP titled Royale—a project that intertwines dream pop, quiet storm r&b, and trip hop sound scapes with her signature indie sound.
